Flooring Solutions is a national member of the US Green Building Council. We have a recycling container in the back of our warehouse, and take back all the carpet and pad we pull up and send it to Goodwill Industries in San Francisco. There they bundle it and send it to dozens of places to be recycled into other products such as new carpet fiber, new carpet pad, automotive parts, as filler for concrete. So nothing goes to the landfill.

We also now offset our carbon emissions with PG&E, so we are carbon neutral. We try to sell floor covering products that don't do any harm to the environment, create carbon emissions and contribute to global warming. We seek out manufacturers that are "green" and do the best job of reducing waste, recycling and making carbon free products.
